Bayou Battle: January 8-10, 2016 Register NOW!
We are less than 2 weeks away, and the anticipation for the Carve Skateshop & Landyachtz NoBull Bayou Battle event in Houston is so thick we can taste it. As we approach the 3 day event, which is celebrating skating and uniting scenes throughout the U.S. we couldn’t help but notice how the event has broken some ground in supporting the women of skateboarding. We are excited to announce that we have secured a loft for all the female riders sponsored by BoardLife out of Austin & Denver. This 4000 square foot MTV Crib style pad will provide free lodging for all those female riders making their venture to race. As well the Bayou Battle has posted an epic first prize to the winner of the womens garage race which is a a 5 night vacation including airfare to the Punta Cana resort in the Dominican Republic for 2, donated by CheapCaribbean.com. And not to worry guys if you win you’ll get a new set of custom NJK leathers and a fat check for $4000. Well we guess its true when they say everything in Texas is bigger. Greg Noble (Bayou Battle event organizer & mega garage sharper!)

Rider/ Industry News:
2015 was a wild ride for many skaters and brands in this corner of rollerboarding. We just caught wind that Resource Distribution went out of business (home of Paris Trucks, Riviera, Timeship Racing, Project Hardware, Divine Wheels, and formally, many other brands in the past such as Roger Skateboards, Teenage Runaway, Elephant Brand, Five Mile, and a few more). It sounds like some of the brands will live on elsewhere, while others are now kaput. We wish the best to all involved and look forward to seeing all that the washing tides of 2016 brings.
