The Wheelbase posse is currently chilling in Vancouver, Canada at Dillon Stephens’ apt with some of the other Landyachtz crew as well as the PDX Sk8Bus homies. We’re lurking hard—shredding parks, hill’s, and neighborhood runs all over this beautiful northern city. We’re hot off of a raucous time at Danger Bay 11 and fired-up to leave tomorrow for the Brittania Classic downhill skateboard race. Peep this update about this weekend’s event:
“We are please to annouce that Sea to Sky Cable Cam will be filming on race day. Check out their demo reel here http://www.seatoskycam.com/demo-reels. The Britannia Classic will also have a profesional film crew onsite to capture this amazing 3 day weekend in order to honour our partners and share this event with the online audience.
After 2 days of freeriding and practice, the race is sure to be a battle with $5000 on the line and 3 time Winner Kevin Reimer healthy and racing defending champ and new team mate Patrick Switzer. Always dangerous will be James Kelly, Kyle Martin and Dillon Stephens who will be healthy for this years race. Don’t rule out other 2011 podium notables George Mackenzie, Travis Craig or Andrew Chapman. The Race will also feature 2 Junior Categories, Women’s and 30 and up.
