Russia’s First Sanctioned Race: Rosa Khutor!

We have received news of Russia’s first official race to take place on public roads! The “Rosa Khutor DH Race” is set to take place on November 7-9th and features a 2km track on a former Olympic facility. Rather than obscure further details through the grapevine, we have copy-pasted all the good stuff right here for your reference. If you are nearby, we hope you will attend! We will be there in spirit alongside our Russian Siblings of Shred!

This is the first Russian race on officially overlapped public roads.
This is the beginning of a long way!
This is the first step to world recognition!
The race will be held in one of the days from 11.07.2024 to 11.09.2024 - the exact date will be known this week.
The track will also be available for riding in the days without competition.

Accommodation:
All participants will be accommodated at Heliopark Freestyle Hotel
Price in double room per person + breakfast is 1,000 rubles. Payment will made in hotel.
We’ll get from hotel to the central spot by bus.

Track:
Length of the route: about 2 km
Dates: 07.11-09.11 - on these dates the track will be closed for cars. Some other more difficult parts of the of the route will be closed for cars too.

All dangerous turns will be protected by mats.
The telemetry equipment of Olympic reserve will be installed throughout the track.

We can make an invitation for a visa to Russia if someone wants to attend our event.
