The Montereal Longboard Fest is happening in Mexico on July 6, 7, 8 and should be good times. If you can get down there, we suggest that you do. Attention all Texans and others shredders in that vicinity: you should consider mobbin’ down to Mexico for this event. Anyway, here are all the juicy details and links to the full scoop and lowdown:
“Monterreal Longboard Fest 2012 is a 3 day international event that takes place in the highlands of Arteaga, Coahuila, in the North east of México. The festival comprises downhill skateboarding races, parties with live music from amazing groups and DJs, camping, cabins and other fun recreational activities and outdoor fun away from urban caos.
From the 6th to the 8th of July we will meet in the town of Mesa de las Tablas in Couhuila, which is recognised as one of the most famous and challenging sites for gravity sports in Mexico. Being the first official meeting of the IGSA in Mexico it is our honour to welcome competitors from all over Mexico, the United States and Canada.
A weekend to celebrate away from the constant barrage of emails, pollution and urban stress. We will be enjoying the most beautiful landscapes, most hectic adrenaline, raddest fiestas, and yummy regional and international cuisine whilst camping or staying in charming alpine cabins. Best of all we will have the pleasure to live together sharing the freshness of nature with the wonderful people that live among these beautiful mountains.
The equation is:
Music + Longboarding + Fun = MLF2012
