Maryhill Festival of Speed Returns for 2015

December 30, 2024No Comments

Maryhill Festival of Speed is set to return for the 2015 IDF racing season. We’re not surprised to see it come back for the ninth year running (this event brings one of the best turnouts in the scene) but we sure are stoked for the downhill skateboarding and mini-ramping goodness! We will be there in full force with our crew documenting the action at the event (and the campsite shenanigans) for all to enjoy. We hope to see you there!

Here’s a blurb from the official event website to whet your downhill skateboarding appetite:

The 9th annual Maryhill “Festival of Speed” is North America’s largest gravity sports festival that is known throughout the world as one of the best downhill skateboarding events, best race courses and venues. The event continues to be the most anticipated world cup downhill skateboarding event in the world each year. Participants and spectators can look forward to the International Downhill Federation (IDF) as the sanctioning body for the 2015 World Cup race.

An estimated attendance of 3,000 spectators will be able to watch over 250 of the world’s fastest Downhill Skateboarders from over 20 countries battle it out on the 2.2 mile, 22 corner historic Maryhill Loops Road; while enjoying action sports exhibits, food, musical entertainment, and more.

Peep the full info at the official event website.

And while you’re here, have a look at our recap from last year’s MFOS!
