Give a hoot and peep our new Wheelbase Weekly Wrap-up for the week of April 11 thru April 17.
Let’s start things off with some skater-made goodness! If you haven’t heard yet, the MIDS crew just released their new t-shirt line. We just received a couple here at HQ and we can vouch that these threads are rad. Thanks for the hook up, homies! Let’s do a “Get Mids or Get lost!” collab!!
In more eastern exposures, Action Board Shop recently released this rad Homie-Vid feat. Mitchell Kreps. Def a fun when viewed as a “day in the life” type scenario.
In even more-more-more East Coast stuffs, we just caught wind of an NYC collaboration event between Longboard Loft & Uncle Funkys and titled: “NYC SUIT AND SKATE“. Looks to be some sort of mini B Bomb thing, with suits! Hmmm. . .
Ali Nas of Norway and representing the Riviera clan, dropped this Gnarlicante follow-run video recently . Not sure if that graffiti on the ground is real. . . but it’s a fun run anyhow!
The Hillside Gear dudes dropped this edit earlier this week featuring of some fun looking hills in their hood and showcasing the talents of Troy Pemberton and some homie named “Crunchie“.
Okay, who’s ready for the fourth annual Catalina Island Classic presented by ? We are!!!! Click on the poster for all the details so you can get on a boat and float over to one of the raddest spectatable events in downhill skateboarding! We also just received that our buddies the Tijuana Panthers will be playing a live show during the event. Sick!!!!
In more skate news this week, Liam Morgan now rides for Shark Wheelz. Just kidding, but the Caliber Truck Co. dudes (One of Liam’s actual sponsors) just released this product highlight featuring their new edition of the Caliber street trucks.
A bunch of other rad shit went down this week including a taco-hill-bomb-to-car-slammer, but most of y’all have already seen that shit on Tony Hawk’s Instagram feed, so let’s chat real quick about some other shizzle! And in staccato-type fashion: have you peeped the strange Loaded vid? or this new Gullwing vid?, or perhaps this new Comet Skateboards edit featuring their Australian homie, Dom Ferro? If you’ve answered no to any of these questions, then get to peeping.
