Hello and welcome to this late edition of the Weekly Wrap-up for the week of June 4-10th. We apologize for not having this recap published by its regularly scheduled time but Wheelbase News was live and lurking this past weekend at the Mahackamack 400 IDF qualifier race gathering original content for an Event Recap. With the conclusion of the event, we have made it back down from the mountain top and are ready to blast you with all the latest happenings to occur within the world of skattleboarding this past week. Sit back, relax, and enjoy this heaping helping of free range skateboarding.
Some individuals are gifted with steeze in either stance and Loaded Boards ambassador Austin Occiuzzo certainly qualifies as one of these blessed few. Check out his newest clip that shows how seamlessly he can rotate his riding situation even under pressure.
The homies at Kebbek Skateboards have been putting in major work to re-vamp their already established brand that has spanned twenty plus years of producing skateboards for skateboarders. To help aid in this quest, they have just upgraded their website making it easier than ever to peep their new line up as well as any new media they produce.
The artists and shapers over at Bonzing Skateboards have been working hard to make sure their beach bod is ready for the summer season by putting their Super Fatty skateboard on some eating restrictions. The result is their newest skateboard, the Diet Fatty, a true Skate Everything sled that designed for mobbing and mashing whatever you get your four wheels on. Get the all the specs and ordering information here from Bonzing’s web page.

Coming up on the East Coast is an event that aims not just to build the skateboarding community, but also the entire community extending far beyond those of us who push rather than walk. Fairfax Skate Fest 2016 is a two day competition and a charity event whose goal is to raise money for the Children’s National Medical Center through skate contests, live music, and access to various skate-related vendors. Check out the event website to view the schedule as well as registration opportunities.

Rumor on the street is that the North Carolina Downhill (NCDH) crew has been out exploring some new roads and from the looks of them, they seem to be pretty nutty… Follow them on their Insta to follow along with all of their Southeastern shenanigans.
Check out our Event Update of the Showdown at the Loops hosted by the Maryhill Ratz scheduled to go off later this month which will touch on the events historical roots while also catering to the ever evolving performance level of todays skateboarder.
