On behalf everyone here at Wheelbase and our friend Frosty the Broman we extend to you an icy-hot Season’s Shaka and welcome you to our latest Weekly Wrap-Up news collection for Nov 28 – Dec 4, ’15 .
First off, here’s a rad video documentary showcasing a pretty killer downhill race in China supported by our friends at Landyachtz, Sector 9, Loaded, Predator, and more. Cool to see Billy Bones & Adam Yates involved.
The homie Kyle Ramsey recently tested out the new 165mm hangers from Rey Trucks and then made a little video with some funny hillbilly music. We though it was fun times.
Caliber Trucks are known for being great for downhill, but you may not know that lengthboardwalkers are using them as well for their fancy footwork. Anyway, check out European shredders Peter Markgraf, Pablo “Blin” Nicieza, and Sietse Geesnik doing their thing in this video and discussing why they are riding Calibers.
Muir Skate loves downhill skateboarding and has been supporting the scene like no other shop on the planet, hands down, and for years now! Anyway, these dudes recently returned from their Skate The States Tour which took them across the U.S. over 37 days reaching 41 states in a little less than 14,000 miles. They hit skate communities and events across the entire U.S. and made a range of rad videos worth a gander. If you missed any of them we highly suggest you sit down for a pre-session warm up/hypefest and watch em all and let your stoke spark the heat: Episode 1: Santa Barbara, Episode 2: Arizona to New Mexico, Episode 3: Texas to Machado, Episode 4: Arkansas, Machado Oklahoma with Nick Hurley, Arkansas Raw Run with Brian, Scott, and Nick, North Carolina Raw Run with Nick and Scott

@hookups official “Here’s a shot from 1998 from when we were filming “the end” this was one of the first tricks I got for the night part. That’s a $1200 suit I’m wearing, it was so dumb that we bought those.”
