We’ve seen a decent amount of heli/aerial footage over the past year or so and a whole lot of slow-mo since whenever some kid figured out to (ab)use Twixtor on his tripod-mounted GoPro footage. It’s safe to say the slow-mo footage is often overdone and the aerial footage turns out acceptable at best, but that’s exactly what makes it all the more special when it’s done right. This edit by the crew at Caliber Truck Co. featuring Liam Morgan makes an appropriate use of both the aerial footage (provided by the talented Matthew Lavin) and dat sweet slow-mo to bring a powerfully cinematic feel to the table, rather than a nausea-inducing squint fest. And for that, fellas, we thank you. And to you, Liam: Good job, kid. Keep doing that thing you do where you look stylie on your board. We’re not going to hate on your monkey-toe because, hello, that was a lengthy maneuver. Just know that we’re taking notes. See you soon, amigo!
