Agenda President, Aaron Levant, just announced that there will be a “longboard skateboard segment” introduced at the upcoming Agenda trade show to be held in Long Beach, CA on January 5, 6, 2012.
Some of the longboard brands slated to attend:
“Divine Wheel Co, Dogtown, Dregs, Elephant Skateboards, Given, GoldCoast, Hosoi, Landyachtz, Layback, Madrid, Palisades Longboards, Paris Trucks Co, Penny Skateboards, Riviera Skateboards, Sector 9, SIMS, Vision Skateboards, Z-Flex, and about 15 more to be added before the show.”
We’re just wondering what the criteria is to be considered longboarding? We had no idea that Vision, Hosoi, Given, Dogtown, or Penny were longboarding brands?
That said, it seems as if a better name choice for this new segment would be “Alternative Skateboard Segment”, or something to that effect.
Anyway, stoked to see things opening up for a more diverse skateboarding market. To read the full story, click here: Transworld Business
