“Come to San Francisco for a race through Golden Gate Park, on 1/28/2012. This is an event for every one of every skill level and their grandmothers. Dodge iBlivious yoggers, swerve ‘n’ curve ‘round the resident crackheads and push passed the buffalos down to the BBQ at da beach. Invite your friends; this event is for the community. Prize giveaways for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
Start Location: Conservatory drive East and John F. Kennedy drive. Map. (gather in the back of peacock meadow/dahlia gardens)
Race Start Time: 12:00 pm
Date: January 28, 2012
Parking is available in Golden Gate Park at the start of the race, Conservatory drive East/John F. Kennedy drive (map) and at the end of the race at Ocean Beach (map). If you park at Ocean Beach you can get to the start of the race by bringing $2 bucks for bus fare and taking the #5 Fulton bus to Stanyan St. The start is a short walk from there. Directions from Ocean Beach to the start of the race can be found here. Dress warmly!”
