Mega Mega Mini Ramp Royale: Good Good Times!

August 28, 2024No Comments

Sessioning a mini ramp with friends is definitely one of the funnest things you can do on a skateboard. It doesn’t matter if you consider yourself a street technician, a pool shralper, a downhill mobber, or whatever—if you continue to skate in the long-term chances are you are gonna spend some quality time shredding on a mini ramp.

There’s a reason why so many of your favorite brands like Sector 9, Caliber, Paris, Landyachtz, SkateHouseMedia, Five Mile, Switchbacks, and others have mini ramps in their warehouses or backyards— and it’s not because they aren’t dedicated to longerboardering—it’s because riding the little-ramp is fun as all fuckin’ hell!

Our buddies over at Unmodern Industries—a skate shop dedicated to bridging the distance between the streets, pools, and hills everywhere—also have a badass mini ramp and they recently decided to throw a winner-take-all ramp jam in collaboration with legendary skater Mike Vallelly and his Elephant Brand Skateboards. We came out to pay homage to this rad form of shredding, drink the free beer, lurk hard, watch skaters battle it out for the $1,000 bucks, and to show our support for one of the raddest shops around. We hope you enjoy these images captured during the festivities. Get rad or get lost!
