As many of you know, at Wheelbase we are way-hyped on all things having to do with skateboarding and art, so it should be of no surprise to anyone that we showcase this collaborative effort from Bustin Boards and Swedish skater & artist, Ishtar Backlund.
Since Bustin started making skateboard back in 2002, they’ve been taking art and artists seriously, and have presented original designs and options for many a stoked skater. In this latest collaborative effort, Bustin has released two boards—The Strike, and the soon to be (this Friday) released Fiberglass Maestro decks, both of which feature beautiful artwork by downhill shredder, distance skateboarder, and artist, Ishtar Backlund.

These boards are lookin’ real sexy-sexy and fun to ride, we are stoked to see such creative collaboration and community support.
